Yard Spreader
The RAM3900 series is a twin lift telescopic spreader for Gantry Cranes or Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes. The 3900 model is all electric powered, suitable for customers who want to ensure a reliable yard operation and be more sustainable.
The 3900 series is a telescopic twin lift yard container spreader, which is powered all electrically and controlled from the crane's cabin. The spreader can be designed to interface with new or existing crane headblocks and electrical communication systems.
In twin lift mode, the RAM ‘CentreSpread’ function allows the spreader's centre gap to be adjusted when two 20ft containers are handled and not set at the standard centre gap distance. The centre gap can be adjusted when the spreader is either unladen or lifting two containers. Moreover, the spreader is fitted with a memory positioning system and automatic positioning system to “memorise” the gap between the two 20ft containers.

Also, with the auto positioning and memory system, the spreader can be in a landside and a seaside position, enabling the crane operator to return to either of these positions. The telescopic arms also allow the spreader to pick up a variety of container sizes.

As the spreader is powered electrically there are no CO2 emissions emitted. In addition, as the spreader is powered all electrically, it operates quieter.

All RAM spreaders are manufactured at our purpose built production facility in accordance with ISO 9001:2008:2008, ISO 14001;2004 and DIN 18800-7 welding standard.
Fully Tested
All spreaders are fully load tested, function tested and are delivered together with operation and maintenance manuals and associated certification.
